It’s no secret that the Mazda CX-5 has been one of the best-selling small SUVs on the market since its introduction. For 2021, Mazda has upped the ante and introduced an all-new CX-5 with upgraded engine options, advanced safety features, and revamped exterior styling. But what can we expect from the 2023 Mazda CX-5? Recently, Mazda released a brochure that provides an in-depth look at what the upcoming model year will bring to the table.

For starters, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 will feature greater power and performance. It will come equipped with either a 2.5-liter, SkyActiv-G 4-cylinder engine or a 2.7-liter SkyActiv-G turbocharged engine. The former produces 187 horsepower and 186-lb-ft of torque, while the latter puts out 250 horsepower and 320-lb-ft of torque. Both options are paired with a smooth and responsive 6-speed automatic transmission.
